Nurse Advocate Support for Managing Primary Immunodeficiency

As if a new diagnosis isn't overwhelming enough, you may also be starting a new treatment. That's where the MyIgSource Nurse Advocate can help. Enroll in MyIgSource, and you'll have access to experienced nurse(s) who can help you manage your primary immunodeficiency (PI) by answering administration questions about Shire Immunoglobulin (Ig) treatments and helping you talk to your doctor about your condition.

    Kristen has been a nurse advocate for MyIgSource for 4 years, and has been a registered nurse for 17 years, with 8 of those years in an outpatient infusion center where she administered Ig treatment, among other therapies. She knows how important it is for patients and their families/caregivers to be educated about the patient's condition and treatment plan. Kristen enjoys sharing her knowledge with patients and other health care providers.

  • Erin - Nurse Advocate for MyIgSource

    Erin has been a nurse advocate for MyIgSource for over 2 years, and has been a registered nurse for 11 years, with 6 of those in hematology and oncology, specializing as an educator, infusion nurse, and presenter. She is an expert in IG therapy and excels in infusion therapy skills. Erin enjoys providing training to health care providers and has a passion for patient education and empowerment.

  • Liza - Nurse Advocate for MyIgSource

    Liza has over 10 years of experience and a wide clinical background in nursing. She has worked in home health care where she provided care including IG therapy, telephonic nurse support as well as performed the role of Care Manager, coordinating a team effort to provide quality patient care. Liza recently obtained her Bachelor’s in Nursing with a focus on patient education. Liza understands the importance of patient education and support and applies her passion and knowledge to her patient, caregiver, and health care provider interactions.
